Newsletter 33: Message from From Leila Rupp

I am soliciting women's historians from across the globe to contribute to a forum on "International Perspectives on the Future of Women's History" to publish in an upcoming issue of the Journal of Women's History. We are publishing a number of dialogues that touch on the question of the future of the field, but all so far have been from a U.S. perspective. I am hoping that you might be willing to write a short piece that will be published in the summer 2003 issue.

Ideally, I would like about five essays of around 2000 words. We are not looking for detailed historiographical essays, but rather reflections on where the field is right now and where you see it headed. You are welcome to submit it in any language and we will arrange for translation into English. We would need essays by 1 December 2002. Please contact the Journal at jwh@osu.edu to let me know if you are interested, and I can forward you the guidelines for contributors.
