Institute organises a training for history teachers
in secondary level education for integration gender as a topic into teaching
history. 13-15 November, 27-29 November, 2004.

participants are receiving the Hungarian version of
Women and Men in the Past. 19th and 20th
Century. Additional teaching Material for Secondary Schools. Eds. Kristina
Popova, Petar Vodenicharov,
Snezhana Dimitrova. International Seminar for Balkan Studies and Specialization.
South Western University, Blagoevgrad, 2002. together with other texts on history of women
and gender history. On the first weekend end of the training besides mock
teaching excercises the participants are discussing

CONFERENCE
The Center for
Gender and Culture at the University of Economics, Budapest is organising its annual conference on gender and violence 27-29 October,
2003. The history sections are organised by Maria Szabo
on violence and military and Borbala Juhász on antifeminism as violence.
