Call for complete sessions and roundtable discussion 20.3.2004 – 31.8.2004
• Sessions and roundtable discussions organized by participants in advance
are expected to comment on the main theme Gender and Knowledge from different
theoretical, methodological and empirical points of view
• Each session / roundtable discussion may not last longer than 90 minutes.
A session may include no more than three papers, comments and discussion
• Roundtable discussions are open meetings with several (4 or more) short
papers or presentations discussing new perspectives and introducing new projects
• Session proposals should include the title of the session, discuss its
relevance for the main theme of the conference, the names of the organiser,
the chair and the participants, titles of papers, and the names of possible
discussants
• Proposals for roundtable discussions should include the theme of the
meeting, discuss its relevance for the main theme of the conference, the names
of the organiser, the chair and the participants and possible discussants
• Sessions with contributions from more than one Nordic country are encouraged.
Conference languages include English and the Nordic languages.

Call för temasessioner & rundabordsdiskussioner 20.3.2004 – 31.8.2004
• Temat för det åttonde mötet är “Kön
och kunskap”. Teoretiska och metodologiska frågor står i fokus,
mötets huvudsessioner tar upp frågor kring feminism och historieuppfattning
samt postkolonialism och nordisk kvinnohistoria.
• På förhand planerade temasessioner & rundabordsdiskussioner
skall utgående från olika teoretiska, metodologiska eller empiriska
perspektiv knyta an till huvudtemat Kön & kunskap
• Enskilda temasessioner och rundabordsdiskussioner ges 1½ timme;
i temasessionerna ryms högst tre papper med kommentarer och diskussion
• Rundabordsdiskussionerna är öppna möten med flera korta
presentationer, och utgör ett forum för att lyfta fram nya perspektiv
och utveckla nya projekt
• Förslag till temasessioner som anknyter till huvudtemat kön
& kunskap skall innehålla sessionens tema och namn på organisatören/ordföranden,
namn på högst tre deltagare samt titlarna på deras papper och
möjlig kommentator
• Förslag till rundabordsdiskussioner som anknyter till konferensens
huvudtema skall innehålla diskussionens tema och namn på organisatören/ordföranden
och deltagare
• Förslag till sessioner med deltagare från olika nordiska
länder prioriteras. Som konferensspråk används både skandinaviska
språk och engelska.
