We wish to thank all the colleagues who sent their proposals to the IFRHW
conference 2005. The organisers have included ca 50 presentations in the programme.
However, we received more than twice as many proposals. Therefore, we had to
reject many excellent proposals.
The conference will take place in conjunction with the World Congress of Historical
Sciences in July 2005 (July 3—9); nevertheless, the exact conference dates
are yet to be confirmed. We'll tell the dates as soon as possible.
Registration and booking forms will be sent out in September. In the meantime,
it might help the planning for the conference to know that the registration
fee will be 50 AUD (ca 30 €) for those in full-time employment and 20 AUD
(ca 12 €) for registered students and those without full-time positions.
All participants of the IFRWH conference need to register for the World Congress.
Early registration fee for the World Congress will be 286 AUD + GST and 143
AUD + GST for students. Accommodation costs will range from rooms in the university
halls of residence at 45,00 AUD per night (single) to hotel accommodation at
ca. 285 AUD (two persons) per night. More information about the World Congress
